Well got good news yesterday I got a call from a friend saying someone was looking for me and it was for a job.  So I went up filled out an application and the next day I started.  I am working at Sunrise Mountain, it is an assistant living home. 

Winter wonderland and Final Grades

It's finally snowing yahoo I am so glad I love the snow it makes everything so pretty.
It's hard to believe that the holidays are around the corner.
Well my grade for Anatomy & Physology is a B- and Composition 2 is an A.
I am half way done I have 50 credits done out of 107 credits. 
I am caring a GPA 3.11

Wow I am so glad my papers are done.  I was feeling like I was getting behind there for a while.  I am nervous about the grade I am hoping I get all the points for them.  I am holding a 96% in this class and A&P 1, 83% so far.  I have A&P 2 and Pharmacology this coming term.  Well gotta go study for my final exam in A&P 1.  Take care of yourselves.

Alittle bit of everything

Wow it is hard to believe were on the way to accomplishment again with our lives.  Another step towards our goals. Although, i feel like I am falling behind in my classes a little but, hopefully I will be able to catch up. We all should be proud of ourselves.  I am going to continue posting to my blog after the class is over. 

The weather is getting colder around here it is getting frosty in the mornings.  The sun however, is trying to come out right know though which is nice.  It is hard to believe winter is here already. 

My huby works so hard and provides for me he is so wonderful.  We both actually have tomarrow off together so  we can enjoy more of each other company with the exception of having classes going on.

I can not believe it

        It is hard to believe that we are almost done with this course.  It is hard to believe that on the 15 of this month I have been in school for a year already.  My adviser and I were talking the other day and if all goes well I will start my clinical in April and he said my graduation date will be Feb. 21, 2012.  It is going to be awesome when my dream comes true.  Hubby and i will be flying to Florida for graduation if we can pull the finances together.

Wow what a week

Wow, will it ever slow down? I feel like I have beeen running like a chicken with it cut off lol.  This whole last week I have been cleaning peoples houses, volunteering at the hospital and this last weekend I had a little friend come over and we did some baking, making smoothes, cooking chicken enchaladas and apple pie.  I never made enchaladas before and man were they good.  Today I got a phone call for an interview for Aspen Hotel for housekeeping and it is tomarrow at 1:00 pm.  I hope I get the job,well hope everyone has a great week.

Academic Challenges

I personally have a couple of academic challenges one is I do not think you get enough time with some of the test taking.  Although with this last test it was unlimited which made it nice.  I have a hard time with test.  I do not do well on 30 minute test taking, I have that for my other class.  I freeze up on tests so it takes me longer to do but I only get a certain amount answered because of it.  I personally think if were to do our best we should be able to take as long as we need.  Trying to get what is in my head and putting it down on paper to make it sound good is a challenge that I face.

Plagiarism is wong

There is consequences to plagerizing, say you were writing a paper and put something down without giving the person what is do them you could be kicked out or fired from your work or even sued.   Even when you are talking to people and explaining to someone directions that were given to you by someone else you need to tell them that you got taught this from so and so.  Do not takefor something that is not your.  We must cite our sources always, and if we are able we need to learn to pharaphrase which is taking the information that we have read and putting it in our own words. 

Unit 3 Composition 2

I love being an online student, I enjoy being able to make it where my classes are back to back to each other.  I like being able to choose the day of my classes making it possible to fit in my schedule.   I know when I first started it took a while to get used to training myself  to be disaplined to do my school work.  Now it comes naturally now,personally that is all I think about.  I am excited for you get to meet a lot of many different people all over the world.  I think being able to jot down on our blogs about how we feel that day helps us learn about each other and how we are all different in dealing with diferent situations. 

Stop and think aminute

I would ask you I say why have you turned your face from me today?  Please turn your face back towards me for, I love you more than words can say.  Have you gotten so caught up in the things of daily living you have no time for me?  Come turn your hearts back to me for I died on a tree just for thee.  So turn your face toward Heaven and cry out to me the God who has made thee. 

Well hubby and I went halibut fishing we had a lot of fun.  We were fishing out of homor,Alaska  we went to the first hole.  I put my rod in the water had a bite it hit so hard the tip of the pole was bent down so far it touched the water.  While trying to get the rod out of the rod holder it snapped the holder and so every tthing went with it. The halibut had to be at least 200 or more lbs.
